excellent fare, yet again, with the charming t before a night of tuesday liverlist drinking. motivation: an opportunity to get caught up on his dating adventures and my...dating adventures. or something like that.
this adorable little spot, hidden around duboce triangle, has delish sake choices with translated descriptions like "elegant", "beautiful", and "keenly dry". the sampler is recommended for newbies and the Demonkiller for alcoholics like me.
t and i exercised restraint (why?!) and only got a few mouth melting nigiris with two tasty rolls (mango-sake, yum!) and a smattering of more simple veggie rolls (oshinko, kanpyo). all their fish is of the finest quality--you really can't go wrong here.
prices are very much appropriate for the high caliber of food. the service is sweet and friendly. and the flirtability improves proportionally to how loud your british-accented guest gets when discussing his fetishes.
i love this place and am taking lots of friends and...dates :) here again.
itadakimasu!
ps. bring your own chopsticks and get free edamame.
